retool . reconnect . recharge

Burnaby Family Life’s Parenting Learning Event (PLE2020) will be held at Byrne Creek Community School on Saturday March 7, 2020.

This event, for parents of school-aged children, will be a full day (8:30 am to 4 pm) of presentations about mental wellbeing, thriving bodies, smart screen habits, and family wisdom.

RETOOL . Build your knowledge about parenting decisions including how to balance home/school life, grow your understanding of the difference between “stress” and “anxiety” in children, and learn about nutrition for a growing brain.

RECONNECT . Mindful and positive parenting encourages self-care and promotes connected families. At this event, you'll have the opportunity to connect to other parents and expand your knowledge of resources and services available in our community.

RECHARGE . Parenting sometimes creates self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy and loneliness. This day is about helping you feel encouraged and re-energized.

Everyone is welcome!
